Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think

OMG we are homeless, house rented out, keys handed over and personal possessions in storage. Hello World we are coming to visit. It’s 5.15am on January 21st and -2 degrees at Epping Station at the start of 24 hours travel to Hanoi, Vietnam. Had a week of long goodbyes to friends and family so let the adventures begin. Arrived in Hanoi 12.30 local time January 22nd it’s 26 degrees and the City is a little smoggy but the hotel is lovely. The drive from the airport was interesting. The driver obviously auditioned as a James Bond baddy. Scars over his face and eyeballing any other driver or moped rider that didn’t obey his use of the horn. In fact his steering wheel was on the left but even after 30 minutes I am not convinced which side of the road they drive on. Only conversation with him was when he asked if we wanted music, we said yes and so were treated to the entire back catalogue I’d the hits of Dido but somehow expertly interwoven with Bo Selector played every third song. Anyway arrived safe and sound and in one piece.
