Wow, what a way to say Goodbye Vietnam. We took a 3 day tour on a variety of boats along the Mekong River. We went to floating markets, outback forests and creeks. A man in our hotel went mad last week and bought 4 Mercedes Benz, 2 BMW’s and 6 Toyota’s registering them all in his own name. The authorities have confirmed its officially the first case of “car owner virus” in Vietnam! 🙂

The Cu Chi Tunnels were used by the Vietnamese to hide from American troops during battle in the forest areas of southern Vietnam. They were also able to offer the element of surprise to the Americans and created lots of booby traps.
