Cu Chi Tunnels

The Cu Chi Tunnels were used by the Vietnamese to hide from American troops during battle in the forest areas of southern Vietnam. They were also able to offer the element of surprise to the Americans and created lots of booby traps. The tunnels run for over 100 miles and several villages lived and survived under ground. Our guide tells us that the tunnels have been made 35% bigger for American tourists and I think he thought I was American when I got into it.

My natural agility really helped me swiftly manoeuvre through the tunnel system!
