I start this blog with some sad news. One of the guests in our hotel eat frog yesterday and we found out that he croaked in the night!
So what type of food have we eaten? Rachael had crocodile and frog in De Nang and we have both eaten a variety of seafood including local dishes like Cau Lou, a soup with lots of greens and herbs.
Spring rolls, pancakes and all the usual Asian food has been amazing but I would advise you don’t have the chicken as it’s fowl.
Today on our excursion we were “lucky enough” to try deep crispy crickets and weasel coffee. This is made by feeding the weasel coffee beans and then drying the animals poo afterwards to create a special flavour. It’s good shit but rather expensive.

We will update you with any other delicacy we might try but for now we are off for a pizza!!!
Sounds nice! We’ve just had the 750 street food buffet at Paradise resort, Koh Yao noi, and we can’t move. May have to sleep on the beach. Xxx
